Just as children need the right foundations to grow physically, they also need the right support to grow emotionally and mentally. Growing Strong helps children in Singapore build the strengths, skills and confidence they need to navigate challenges, relationships and everyday life.

When these needs are not addressed early, they can affect how children see themselves, relate to others and respond to challenges as they grow.

Children’s wellbeing challenges exist across all income backgrounds, but access to support is not always equal. Some children may be overlooked because their needs are less visible, while others may face additional barriers to accessing early support due to their family’s circumstances. When wellbeing needs are assessed through the lens of income or labels, children who do not fit expected profiles can easily fall through the gaps.
